The Christmas Light Show 2018

A HEARTFELT THANK YOU TO FRIENDS AND SUPPORTERS OF "THE CHRISTMAS LIGHT SHOW"AND RALLYCAP SPORTS FOR THEIR SUPPORT AND DONATIONS

Wall Township, New Jersey – On December 23rd 2018, Raising4 Inc. hosted a celebration of Christmas at the Woolley Road location where "The Christmas Light Show" has been held without incident for 11 years. The evening entertained hundreds of neighbors, friends, and our closest supporters as they sang Christmas carols and enjoyed lights and pyrotechnics synchronized to music in celebration of the birth of Christ.

The official "Christmas Light Show" and fundraiser was not held because Raising4 was unable to reach an agreement with Wall Township officials over Raising4's proposed resolution and re- format of the show which could have effectively addressed and mitigated the traffic, parking, and overall public safety concerns raised by the Township.

In the spirit of Christmas, guests brought gifts in the form of donations to support Rasing4 Inc. Guests generously donated $1,100 which Raising4 Inc. used to support RallyCap Sports (www.rallycapsports.org), the charity which The Christmas Light Show has historically supported.

Paul Hooker, Founder and Chairman of RallyCap Sports said “Every year, the donations raised at The Christmas Light Show help us continue to provide our recreational sports program for children and young adults with specials needs in Monmouth County. This year’s donations will allow us to purchase much needed adaptive sports equipment for our participants. We are truly thankful for The Christmas Light Show and Raising4 crew, the Epp Family, their friends and family, and all those who come out to support those with special needs. Together we rally!”

"While the scope of our historic Christmas light show fundraiser had to be minimized due to continued concerns raised by Wall Township, the spirit of giving was nevertheless overwhelming, especially given the smaller size, but generous hearts, of those who were able to join us just two days before Christmas," said Daniel Brateris, President of Raising 4 Inc.

Rasing4 Inc. extends a heartfelt "thank you" to their friends and supporters, and especially to the families and neighbors on Woolley Road, whose support has been overwhelmingly positive for the last 13 years. Raising4 remains hopeful that it will be able to reach a reasonable and workable compromise with Wall Township in the weeks and months ahead so as to return "The Christmas Light Show" to it historic location on Woolley Road for the 2019 Christmas season.
